About Our Premium Grade Red Maple Flooring
Premium grade Red Maple wide plank flooring has occasional color variation and character markings such as mineral streak (a narrow darkened area running parallel with the grain caused by minerals the tree extracted from the soil when it was growing), worm track, and a beautiful wave like pattern or “curl” in the grain.
Red Maple’s properties are similar to that of Sugar Maple. The sapwood is grayish white and the heartwood is brown. It makes a very durable floor.
