Red Oak 5: Another close view of our Select Red Oak , milled from northern Red Oak. This photo shows the edge of the floor closest to the wall, where shorter pieces were used to fit. Average plank length on our red oak select floors is at least 8 feet, and 97 percent of the planks in each order are greater than 8 feet in length.
