White Ash. Fraxinus Americana.
Natural grade wide plank Ash flooring has color variation, knots, and character markings. As with all of Hull Forest Products' wide plank floors, these planks are large and wide; the average plank length is 8 feet or longer.
Floors, baseball bats, canoe paddles, and tool handles are among the historic uses for White Ash. The wood is strong, straight grained, and slightly springy. Sapwood is cream colored and heartwood, where the oldest growth lies, is pale tan to darker brown in color.
Ash has superior impact resistance, making it a great choice for any area of your home.
