White Oak Flooring - Select Grade

Northern White Oak Wood flooring in a Contemporary Home

White Oak. Quercus Alba.

Select White Oak is our highest grade of oak, hand selected for consistent color and clear grain with few to no knots.

A classic look that works with any decor, White Oak flooring takes stain beautifully and a wide variety of finish tones can be achieved. Browse through our White Oak gallery to get a sense of how this wood looks naturally versus stained.

Like all our oak floors, select grade White Oak makes a hard, durable surface with excellent impact resistance. This wood floor is ideal for any area of your home, even high-traffic rooms.

For those interested in the differences between the species, White Oak is paler than Red Oak, and its undertones tend to be gray or brown rather than ruddy.

White Oak plays a significant role in winemaking; in fact, one of the first products we made when Hull Forest Products got its start back in the 1960s were quartersawn White Oak barrel staves for use in the wine and spirits industries.
