Wholesale Supplier of Wood Chips for New England | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Hull Forest Products is a leading wholesaler of hardwood wood chips in New England, supplying commercial, industrial, and educational biomass heating systems with mill quality hardwood wood chips. In addition to our woodchips produced as a lumber byproduct, HFP subsidiary Mass Woodyard LLC harvests over 4,000 tons per week of hardwood pulp for chip, paper, and fiberboard markets in the U.S., Canada, and overseas. One ton of woodchips has the energy equivalent of 60 gallons of #2 heating oil. Our weekly harvest of 4,000 tons of wood chips offsets up to 240,000 gallons of oil; that's an offset of more than 12 million gallons per year. All from local, homegrown, renewable energy. To meet the growing demand for biomass wood fuel, Hull Forest Products has invested in a line of mobile debarking, chipping, and screening equipment so our pulp resource can be diverted to bulk deliveries of wood chip fuel for New England schools, hospitals, welcome centers, and other facilities. Our wood chips provide the Northeast with an affordable, sustainable, domestic alternative to foreign oil. Our biomass wood fuel can be delivered to your facility direct from one of our three locations in Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Vermont. Please note that we also have indoor storage available to keep our chips clean and dry. Hull Forest Products offers several classes of wood fuel to meet New England's energy needs:
All of the above options may be provided in softwood species as well. Hull Forest Products provides clean, consistent biomass fuel, delivered on time to meet your heating and energy needs. Our clients include:
Two industrial combustion system brands that currently use our wood chip fuel are Messersmith Manufacturing, based in Michigan, and Biomass Combustion Systems based in Worcester, Massachusetts. There are several different feed system configurations for each manufacturer which will determine what class of wood chip is best suited to the brand of wood boiler you choose. If your facility is considering an investment in energy savings with biomass wood fuel, you may want to consult with the manufacturers, as well as Hull Forest Products to determine what chip quality and boiler configurations are available and will work best for you.
