Log Scaler / Log Yard Manager

The yard manager will have responsibility for 200 to 400 MBF of incoming logs weekly as well as two log scalers and two loader operators. He/she must perform inventory management and maintain close communication with our sawmill. Past log and lumber manufacturing experience and management of subordinates is required for this position.

Lumber Inspector

We are seeking recent or experienced NHLA graduates as well as informally trained lumber graders with at least 2 years experience who desire varied daily job duties throughout our sawmill. Successful candidates will also help us with grader/operator training as well as machine center operation to ensure optimal production efficiencies.

Foresters

Hull Forest Products is seeking certified professional foresters to help us serve our growing portfolio of landowner clients. We need you to help our clients achieve their long term woodland management goals. Top performers can earn top pay, plus a company vehicle and benefits. If you are interested in a career working as a team player with independent responsibilities, read on. You should be a self starter who can work independently. You must be well organized and have good time management skills. Strong communication skills are a must. You will meet with clients and prospective clients to discuss their woodland maintenance and management goals and explain how they can be achieved. You will work with both public and private landowners as well as a variety of harvesting contractors. We take pride in our forest management work, and it will be your job to ensure all involved parties are pleased with the results. Honesty and integrity are crucial to our business model, as are the proper licenses and permits. Foresters must maintain the certificates and licenses required of professional foresters and management activities by state and local agencies.
