Birch Flooring - Natural Grade

Northern Birch makes durable wood flooring with good impact resistance.

Betula Lenta.

Natural grade Birch wide plank floors feature a mix of sapwood and heartwood with lots of color variation, from golden yellow to brown to rich red. Character marks such as mineral streak, knots, and pin knots abound in the natural grade.

We mill our wide plank Birch flooring from northern Birch trees that have a creamy white sapwood and warm yellow to brownish-red heartwood.  When we're sawing Birch, it smells wonderfully minty in the mill--Black Birch, also known as Sweet Birch, was once the source for commercial oil of wintergreen.

Birch is a hardwood with excellent impact resistance, ideal for any area of your home.

Floor #803. Natural grade Birch. Gorgeous grain and color make this floor a stand out.
